MODUS OPERANDI

Infamous serial killers are forced to exist as tortured examples of their own horrific methods of murder, representing justice for the horrors they committed.

(for the morbidly curious)

JEFFERY

DAHMER

Jeffery Lionel Dahmer, also known as The Milwaukee Cannibal, was born in May of 1960. He grew up to develop very dark and twisted perceptions of sex and companionship leading to several horrific acts of necrophilia, rape, murder, and cannibalism resulting in the previous murders of at least 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991. Dahmer became especially infamous for attempting to create subservient “zombies” out of his victims with corrosive liquids and an electric drill. Ultimately he was convicted for his crimes and given 15 consecutive life sentences before being beaten to death in prison by an inmate named Christopher Scarver on November 28th 1994, at the age of 34.

NANNY

DOSS

Nancy Hazel was a serial killer and certified psychopath who came to be known as The Giggling Granny, The Lonely Hearts Killer, and the very telling—Black Widow. As you can guess, her preferred method of murder was poison, usually, arsenic, with which she killed the greater portion of eleven people— all of whom were in her own family! Her poor victims included four of her five husbands, her mother, two daughters, and her very own infant grandson who met his end at the piercing of a hatpin.

ALEXANDER

PICHUSHKIN

The Chessboard Killer is a Russian serial killer who murdered at least 48 victims from 1992 to 2006. He would often entice unsuspecting homeless people with alcohol to gain their trust… then he would brutally beat them to death with a hammer. Pichushkin earned the additional moniker, Bitsa Park Maniac, after a long pattern of abandoning his victims’ disfigured bodies along the walkways and planes of—you guessed it—Bitsa Park. Though he is in prison for life, he is still very much alive.

ED GEIN

Edward Theodore Gein, a.k.a. The Butcher of Plainfield, was an infamous killer and body snatcher known for using actual human bodies to create furniture and apparel. A few of his many gruesome creations include a literal face mask, a human skin upholstered lamp, a necklace made of tongues… and a nipple belt. It should also be noted Gein does not technically satisfy the criteria to be considered a serial killer as he was only ever convicted of 2 murders— a minimum of 3 are required for the status.

JUANA

BARRAZA

La Mataviejitas, or the Old Lady Killer, was a former professional wrestler who killed over 42 elders (mostly women) after tricking them with a ruse to get into their homes. She chose to beat and/or strangle her elderly victims with commonplace objects found on-site. Barraza’s immense strength and stature would sometimes cause her victims to bleed from their ears which initially lead authorities to believe her to be a male offender. With over 750 years to live out in prison, Barraza is still living today.
